Of course, this was the song that introduced him to the world:
Did I mention Blues?
Always fun!
On Jan. 29, 2013, he released a superb new album,
“Til Your River Runs Dry”
This is so beautiful!
I had the amazing experience of attending an Eric Burdon concert on Feb. 8 (2013). (Drove 4 hours through a blizzard to get there. Talk about dedication!)
He even passed me in the hotel hallway, but by the time I got over the shock he was down the hall; singing all the way, I might add.
Got some great photos, though:

I love the House of the Rising Sun. The old stuff is always the best.
Hi Joyce. The music was great back then! 🙂 You can still find good music today, but you have to go looking for it. Eric Burdon’s new album is wonderful! Thanks for visiting.
Hey Debbie,
I like “Spill the Wine” and “Wait” 😉
“The Animals” band has same old members? Seems like new guys 😉
Cheers…
Good day, Mayura! Thanks for visiting. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the post. This “Animals” band is brand new. The guitarist, Eric McCormick, is fantastic! Have a good weekend.
I didn’t know about the new album!

Hey Debbie, Can’t say I was ever a HUGE Eric Burton fan, but I’ve always liked him. It’s cool that you actually got to see him up close. Have a great day!
Thanks, Loy. 🙂 It’s amazing how well his voice has held up all of these years. Cheers!
Blimey this is one person I never expected to see on a Music Monday …brilliant choices…doesn’t he look different now
Hi Steve; Why is that? He has a brand new album out and it’s amazing! Yeah; I am startled every time I see him now, LOL, but the eyes and more importantly, the voice are still the same. Thanks for visiting. 😀
I’m just jammin’ out 🙂
House of the Rising Sun is my dad’s favorite song and Spill The Wine is one of my favorites!
You’ve got some great taste in music…that’s why we connect so well 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it Corina! My prime time for music was the 60s and 70s. It’s not often I find something from today that moves me, like Eric’s album has. Yes, we do have a lot in common, don’t we? Thanks for listening. 🙂
