Welcome to another edition of Photo Friday.

PARADISE:
In Sept. 2013, my life-long dream of visiting Greece finally came true. In celebration of our 40th anniversary, we did a Classical land tour, plus cruised the Saronic Gulf and the Cyclades islands. I was in heaven, so this must be paradise, Santorini in particular!

It’s sooooo beautiful, Debbie! Was your land tour with a tour group?? Have a great day! 🙂
It was incredible, Mike! Trip of a lifetime. Yes, everything was via organized tour, through a Greek travel agency I found online. The land tour lasted 4 days. I’ve been writing about it and will continue, this year. You can see previous posts HERE
Greece is so beautiful – I’ve never been to Europe. Paradise, to me , is Sanibel Island in Florida.
I’ve never been to Florida, but would love to visit Key West. Must Google Sanibel Island; sounds heavenly. 🙂 Thanks for visiting, Alana. Glad the comment finally went through!
The water has a deeper shade of blue… so beautiful!!Greece is in my bucketlist … it’s such a gorgeous place.
I hope you get to Greece, Rajlakshmi! 🙂 The pictures don’t really do it justice – it’s spectacular in person. Thanks for dropping in.
Beautiful photos! Greece is at the top of my list of places to go!
Thanks! 🙂 Greece is a must – see and I hope you are able to go. It was my life-long dream come true.
I bet this was a trip for the ages… I thought I was going to Athens, last Summer, but the deal fell through. Had they called, and sent me a ticket, I would have been on my way… Love your pictures!
It was the trip of a lifetime, Michael! Not only did we spend two weeks in Greece, but also visited my birthplace in Germany for the first time since 1972 and visited with hubby’s family in Italy. Too bad your trip to Athens fell through! Even better when someone else is paying for it. 🙂
Greece is on my places to see list. Your photos are beautiful. I didn’t know you host a photo prompt. Will try and link up from my photo blog 🙂
Thanks, Suzy. Hope you get to Greece – it truly is magnificent! Yes, this a weekly photo link up. I’ll look for your posts. 🙂
Definitely a dream come true! Such an absolutely beautiful spot – thanks for sharing these lovely photos.
It truly was, Laurel! 😀 Greece in general is a photographer’s delight. Thanks for visiting.
WOW! Beautiful. Looks like you had a wonderful time in Greece. 🙂
Yes, it was the trip of a lifetime! 😀 Glad you enjoyed the photos and thanks for visiting.
Hi Debbie,
I remember that trip and the pictures you shared. Greece is such a beautiful place. It’s on my bucket list :). Thank you for sharing them and your trip with us :).
Have a great day and weekend.
Yes, these were probably posted before, but, seemed perfect for the photo prompt. Greece is amazing and I hope you get to see it one day, Corina. 🙂 Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.
Love the pics Debbie. It looks beautiful!
Thanks, Bren. 😀 Greece lived up to all my expectations and I would love to go back there!
This is one place I really want to go — my daughter is talking about sending us there. It would be a dream come true. Your pics are awesome
Greece is amazing, Carol and I hope you are able to go! Best time is early/mid June or late September, when it’s a bit less crowded and not as hot. I’ll never forget this memorable trip! 😀
Absolutely beautiful. Great photos. I MUST see this too. Let me know when you plan to go back, maybe we can meet up and drink a bottle of Greek wine together. 🙂
That would be lovely, Angelika, but I’m not sure if and when we will get back to Greece – Italy for sure, because hubby has family there. That’s good too, yes? 😀 Glad you enjoyed the photos!
I love your Greece photos and posts, Debbie. You make us feel like we’re there, too. Such a gorgeous spot. It truly does look like paradise, for sure. And it sure is a treat for these winter weary Canadian eyes.
Thanks, Cathy. 🙂 It was beautiful there and, speaking as a fellow winter-weary Canadian, it does look inviting!
