Welcome to
♫ Music Monday ♫
This week’s feature is a continuation of Crooners.
Not what you’d expect from an old hippie/rockchick, eh? 😉
I do enjoy those smooth, dulcet tones now and then.
Check out Part I HERE.
Part II – The Contemporary Artists
Harry Connick Jr. really brought this genre new life:
Michael Bublé is smooth as silk:
One of my all-time favourite rockers who embraced his inner crooner:
[More about him in future!]
Do you enjoy this musical style?
If so, who are your favourite Crooners?
If not, what type of music floats your boat?
Looking forward to your comments!

Oh yes! These guys are great. I love Michael Buble!
Glad you enjoyed my post Pamela. Welcome to the Doglady’s Den. Thanks for visiting! 🙂
Those are very good. I esp love the Buble 😀
Thanks for rocking with us!
I’m always up for anything to do with music! 😀 Glad you enjoyed the crooners and thanks for visiting. 🙂
Thanks for posting. many people are aware from given list.
Thanks for visiting! 😀
Yeah! So glad to see you’re back online!
I all your picks. I was surprised when I found out how well Harry Connick Jr sings…he’s got a soothing voice, all of them do.
It’s hard to hear Rod Stewart sing, I keep picturing him singing Hot Legs and the video LOL but he’s got the voice for it and not many artists can do that.
Great pick Debbie! Have a great week!
Online for now, anyway! I’m paranoid about it after so many problems. Fingers crossed! Glad you enjoyed the selections Corina. I know what you mean about Rod. That’s not the rocker I know and love, but, he sure did well with all those albums. Thanks for visiting.
Oh now, I just wanted to cuddle up with a glass of wine and listen to all of these over again.
I love Harry C.
Great picks this week. Thanks for playing along.

Glad you enjoyed them Naila. 🙂 Thanks for visiting.
Favorite crooners – Jobim, Edu Lobo, Stan Getz, Bryan Ferry, Paul Weller, Denton Perry, Dean Martin, Anita O’Day, Julie London, Lambert, Hendricks and Ross!
Great list! 🙂 I know some of them but not all. Thanks for visiting.
I love all kinds of music. It just depends what mood I’m in I guess. I’m liking Harry Connick Jr., Buble is a new favorite of mine too. Oh heck, you rock! I love all the songs you picked for today. Thanks for sharing & joining us today! Hope to see you again next week. Have a great day!
Glad you enjoyed the tunes. 🙂 Thanks for visiting.
Just wanted to stop by and thank you for your current visit to my blog.
You’re welcome Carol. 🙂 Thanks for the return visit. Did you enjoy the tunes?
Harry Connick Jr. reminds me (and everyone else) of a young Frank Sinatra. I also like the way he uses his fame to better the world with philanthropy. Great picks. I usually go for the loud, fast tunes, but I love these. Not typical Rod Stewart, is it?
Now where’s my husband? I want a slow dance.
Not the rockin’ Rod I love, but he had great success with those tunes and his voice was up to the task. Agree about Harry Connick Jr. Multi-talented too! Thanks for visiting Joyce. Sorry for the delayed response, but my site has been having some technical difficulties.
