I can’t say brown is my favourite colour, but it’s certainly prevalent in nature. Let’s start with:

As a child, I had mousey brown hair (photo on the left from 1967), and wore a lot of brown clothes.
Jazzed it up with auburn hair colour as an adult (photo on the right from the ’80s) and ditched the brown threads. 😆
(Now, I’m loving the natural silver, which IS the new blonde!)

Stunning photos, Debbie! 📸
That raccoon is so cute! 🦝
Thank you so much, Veronica! 🙂 The raccoon took us by surprise, but he eventually wriggled his way out.
Wonderful series photography ~ very professional ~ thanks,

Thank you for that wonderful compliment! 🌹 All the best to you as well. 🙂
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Hugs. ♥
My pleasure, Sandee! 🙂 Thank you for hosting.
The autumn leaves are so fabulous looking
Yes, we get some good colour around here! 🙂 Thank you for coming by.
It’s definitely the full moon between the trees for me 😉 The raccoon was cute. All the ‘brown’ pictures are gorgeous, Debbie!
Checked out your trip to Barcelona – outstanding! The architecture is stunning. I don’t know if it’s anywhere near close, but have you heard of a place called Setenil de las Bodegas?
Thank you, diedre! 🙂 The raccoon was a surprise. He managed to wriggle his way out, eventually. Thanks also for perusing the Barcelona travelogue. I would go back there in a heartbeat! 💖 Setenil de las Bodegas wasn’t familiar, so Google to the rescue! It’s in southern Spain (Andalucia), not far from Gibralter, which is a long way from Barcelona. Looks interesting!

Thank you so much, Kirstin! 🙂 The raccoon took us by surprise. He did manage to wriggle out, eventually.
Wait, what about brownies and cookies???
I never thought of food! 😯 It’s not a common photographic subject for me. Brilliant suggestion, though! 🙂
Deb, what a fun post. And loved the nostalgic shots of you. I think Terri’s weekly challenge is perfect for you because you are the image queen. 🙂 x
I’m glad you enjoyed the post, Deb, and thank you for the compliment! 🌹 Photography comes easily to me, while writing is a torturous process. I admire your talents and those of the other authors.
As I admire yours. <3
What’s not to like about brown? I mean, isn’t chocolate brown? That you’ve gotta love, right? 😀 I loved the photo of the raccoon in the tree. What perfect timing!
Excellent point, Cathy. I love chocolate! 😀 We were so surprised to see the raccoon in our tree. Fortunately, he eventually wriggled his way out.
So great to see all the gorgeous browns you included in your post, Debbie! Architecture and nature know how to highlight all the lovely shades of brown. I love the surprise raccoon popping out of the tree. I had to chuckle at your 60s fashion show. I agree that gray is the new blonde–I’m slowly heading there myself.
Thank you, Terri! 🙂 The raccoon did eventually wriggle out of the hole. My dog was going nuts the whole time! 😆 The 60s was the last time my hair was mousey brown. After that, it was auburn and, later, strawberry blonde. Your natural red hair is gorgeous! A few silver highlights would only enhance your style. Thanks for coming by and for hosting this photo fest!
Such beautiful fall colors. Wow.
Have a fabulous day and week, Debbie. Big hug. ♥
Thank you Sandee. 🙂 This is a colourful time of year around here. Hugs back!
Great choices for the colour challenge, and I enjoyed seeing a raccoon in there too. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! 🙂 The raccoon was cute and thankfully, he wriggled his way out of the hole.
Your photos are soooo amazing! And I just want you to know I really need that outfit and shoes from 1967! lol You look terrific!
Thank you so much, Kymber! 🌹 That brown dress was a favourite at the time and would probably fit right in with today’s fashions. 🙂
