It’s time to announce the results of the Feb. 15th showdown.
BATTLE OF THE BANDS (BOTB), hosted by StMcC Presents Battle of the Bands is where you listen to different recordings and vote for the one you like best. There are two “Battles” per month, on the 1st and 15th. (Some of us choose one date OR the other. Mine are scheduled for the 15th only.) Votes will be tallied and posted the following week. At first, it appeared that Aerosmith would be the likely winner. Then, the votes for Jeff Beck and Imelda May started rolling in. Both versions appealed to me, but, I have a “thing” for killer guitar riffs. As John said: “You know, Jeff Beck.” Sure do! The intro was stellar, along with Imelda’s powerhouse vocals (sorry, Stephen 😉 ), so I had to go that way.
