  1. Great photos, very artistic and two excellent videos, the first one is really great and the second one is this evergreen hit which is so beautiful, they knew how to do it. Have a great Sunday Debbie:)

    1. Thanks! 🙂 I’m not an expert videographer, but those two turned out fairly well. ‘Nights In White Satin’ is actually my favourite song of all time. Gives me chills every time!

  2. I would have loved that concert – I love the Moody Blues. Enjoyed your pink and blue photos, too. Although I live in New York State, I’ve never been to the Thousand Islands. Alana ramblinwitham

    1. Thank you, Alana! 🙂 I’ve been to several Moody Blues concerts over the years, and this was the most memorable. They had a full symphony orchestra! 💖 You would like the Thousand Islands. It’s a beautiful area on both sides of the border.

    1. Thank you, Pete! 🙂 I have many photos to choose from. Sorry for being absent lately, but I have bookmarked your latest serial and will read it over the weekend. Cheers!

    1. Thank you, Jackie! 🙂 That was one of the Moody Blues’ best concerts (we attended several over the years), so I’m happy to have captured it on film.

  3. Debbie, your pastel photo collection is absolutely stunning! I especially love the “Pink Sky at Sunset” and the “Spring Blossoms in the Local Park” shots. Also, your captures of the Moody Blues concert are fantastic – what a wonderful way to combine your love for photography and music! Thanks for sharing these beautiful moments. Looking forward to more of your posts!

  4. Debbie,

I skimmed right over your video recordings. smack forehead I’m glad you decided to link up with the 4M party. You did a fabulous job on making these videos. Great music!

  5. My current hawaiian shirt would go well with this! (Mainly because its my second oldest and faded, lol!)

  6. Love your gig pics. I don’t really know the Moody Blues – I know who they are, just sort of missed the music somehow…#MondayMusicMovesMe

  7. I love pastel skies of pinks and purples in the summer as the sun begins to slip toward the west in the evenings – it’s just beautiful! Your photo collections are excellent as always. I like the pink tree blooms and Rose of Sharon pictures – so pretty!

    1. Thanks Cathy! 🙂 Summer sunsets are beautiful and I’m glad to have captured some. We have large Rose of Sharon bushes in the backyard, in various shades of white, pink and mauve. They bloom from late July to late September.

      1. My late MIL had several Rose o Sharon bushes. I think all of hers were either pink or mauve. My memory escapes which now. I tried growing one that she gave me and killed it. I don’t have a green thumb.

        1. I don’t have a green thumb either. 😆 The Rose of Sharon bushes were already there when we moved in and they just grow on their own. We trim them back a bit in the winter. In the beginning, there were only white flowers, but the pinks and mauves evolved later. 😎

  8. Love love l9ve the Moody Blues and I am so lucky to have seen them when everyone was still alive. I l9ve all your pictures…you got some great sunsets.

    1. You and me both, Birgit! 🙂 ‘Nights In White Satin’ is my all-time favourite song, but I love most of their material. And their live shows were always excellent. Glad you enjoyed the photos as well. Thanks!

    1. Thank you, Sandee! 🙂 I will also add this to your WW link up. Thanks for the opportunity and I hope you have an excellent week as well. 🤗

  9. Glad you are back from your break and hope all is well, Debbie! You have plenty of outdoor shots showing the beauty of pastels in nature. The flowers are beautiful, and the skyline is gorgeous at sunset. I almost used a similar one I took of San Diego harbor, but I’m saving it for next week’s sunset/rise post 🙂 Love the convert pics of the Moody Boue too. I love their music! My favorite is “Tuesday Afternoon.”

    1. Thanks, Terri! 🙂 I suffer from blogger burnout sometimes, and stepping away from it usually rekindles the enthusiasm! I’m glad you enjoyed the photos and am looking forward to your San Diego shot next week. As for the Moody Blues, we were in the audience that night and I took those photos from my seat. First three using a zoom lens, but the last one was my actual vantage point. The concert was filmed for PBS and aired a few months later. One of the best concerts in recent memory! 💖
