  1. HI Debbie, most favourite of all my film songs.. is Cell Block tango, from Chicago, followed closely by Mr Cellophane, also from Chicago, the 2002 film with Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta Jones to name but a few of the fantastic cast… Great to see and hear the ones you’ve listed above… Hope you’ve had a great Monday… xPenx

    1. Hi Pen; Chicago was such a great movie and I really enjoyed watching Richard Gere sing and dance. Who knew he had that in him! 😀 I didn’t know Renee Zellweger could sing that well either and Catherine Zeta Jones was so good too. Thanks for visiting and have a good Tuesday.

  2. Great list Debbie!

I haven’t seen Purple Rain in a long time and I loved that movie! My kids can’t understand why, but I tell them they don’t know nothing about that Prince LOL!

I enjoyed listening to these….love your taste in music Debbie! 🙂

    Have a great week!

    1. Glad you enjoyed the post, Corina. I still have the original “Purple Rain” vinyl album. Great song! ♥ We do seem to share similar tastes in music; that’s cool! You have a wonderful week as well. 🙂

  3. I would have to say out of all the great movie songs you’ve chosen, “Purple Rain” is my favourite. Happy Music Monday to you x

    1. Hi Steve; Yeah; The Godfather was so huge back then. Andy Williams sang that song too and it was a hit all over again. Have a great week! 🙂

  4. I love your choices! I share your love for “The Godfather Theme”, I loved the song more ever since I watched the Godfather trilogy. I also love Prince’s “Purple Rain”, I remember it ranked number one for quite a while during the 80s. Happy MM, Debbie!

    1. Thanks! 🙂 Yes, The Godfather Theme was such a hit already and then Andy Williams did a version with lyrics that also became popular. 🙂 I still have the “Purple Rain” original vinyl album from the 80s. It has so many good songs on it. Cheers!
