Terri Webster Schrandtβs blogfest theme this week is:
LEAVES AND TREESWe have little in the way of fall colours so far, and I’ve already used last season’s photos in recent posts, so, let’s go back a few years earlier…
Here’s a series of spectacular fall foliage photos (say that quickly three times! π) that I took in 2014 and 2015:

Oh, those are stunning!!!
Thank you, Kirstin! π We have had some excellent years for fall colour. Not much going on this season, though. It’s been too warm.
Gorgeous fall color!!
Yes, Mother Nature at her finest! π Thanks for coming by, Peter.
Absolutely beautiful! Nature’s pallette.
Yes, Mother Nature knows how to put on a show! π Thank you Keith.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Debbie. β₯
My pleasure, Sandee, and thank you for hosting! π
Those are some beautiful pics. Love the colors. Very amazing.
Yes, we have had some excellent fall colours over the years. Not much going on this season, though. It’s been too mild.
Your photos make me miss Maryland even more than I usually do. I thought about moving back there when I got divorced, but I didn’t want to go there alone, especially when I can’t have the house I designed that we had built there. I wouldn’t be able to afford to build another house. Now here I sit in Florida waiting for Hurricane Milton.
Love,
Janie
I’m sorry you lost your designer house, Janie! π But, I was glad to know that Milton didn’t cause you too much grief. Thanks for checking out my photos.
What lovely photos colourful and autumnic π
Have a foliagetastic week and thanks for linking up π
Thank you, Steve! π I appreciate the linking opportunity.
Fabulous time of year and amazing photos Debbie…β₯β₯
Thank you, Sally! π There are from 2014 and 2015. Not much going on so far this year.
The foliage in these pictures are stunning Debbie – in some photos, the colors are almost surreal because they are so colorful. The very first photo on the left, the green tree in in the forefront is thinking “when it is MY turn?”
Yes, we have had some excellent years for fall colours, but there’s not much going on this season, so far. That willow was a little slow. π
Just starting to turn that way here…
Not much going on here either. These are all from 2014 and 2015.
Wow, wow and wow. Beautiful fall colors. I would love to see this in person.
Have a fabulous day and week, Debbie. Big hug. β₯
Thank you, Sandee! π Some years, Mother Nature outdoes herself. Not much going on this season, so far. It’s been too warm.
That is gorgeous! Here in north Texas we don’t get all those colors. Most trees stay green and some turn yellow/brown. Great photos.
Thank you, Thomas! π We had a couple of excellent years for fall colours but so far, this season has been boring. Most leaves are still green, because it’s been warm until now. I can imagine your tropical climate doesn’t produce many coloured leaves.
Yes you are right but we are in the subtropical zone, or if you want to specific, Dallas is in the humid subtropical zone. You in Toronto are in the temperate zone but pretty close to the subpolar zone (according to the map).
You’re the expert. π I’ll Google that map. I live in the southwestern suburbs of Toronto, an area known as “Carolinian Canada” and sometimes even “The Banana Belt”, because it’s generally milder than most other areas of Canada (except southern British Columbia).
That is interesting. I did not know that.
This is a beautiful gallery of stunning fall foliage, Debbie! I never regret keeping old pics in my files to view again. I’m just now listening to our weather caster talking about our warmer than normal weather nationwide. Trees still making chlorophyll due to sunlight so the colors are delayed. Autumn is just around the corner! ππ
Thanks, Terri! π Those were excellent years for colour. Not much going on this season, so far.
Stunning pictures!
Thank you! π We had a couple of excellent years for fall colours. Not much going on this season, though.
Stunning photos! We don’t get that kind of autumn in Houston.
We don’t always, either, but those years were spectacular! Last year too. Not much going on this fall, though.
