Loving the hat! My first real concert was The Who and Keith Moon was still with us, it was incredible. Very cool fountain photo too.
Thanks! My mother had a flair for fashion. 🙂 Fantastic that you got to see The Who in their prime! I bet it was amazing. 😀 We didn’t go to many concerts in the 70s, but have been making up for lost time in recent years. All of these old rockers are still great.
I usually end up modifying WW to Almost Wordless Wednesday. I just can’t seem to post a pic without some sort of commentary! I love the Grecian wall fountain. 🙂
I don’t think too many people actually keep it wordless anymore. 🙂 That fountain was pretty striking, along with the rest of the Medieval City. Thanks for coming by.
That Laguna mountains pic is just spectacular… how did you even take it??
Thanks! I got lucky. 🙂 It was the view from the window seat as the plane was approaching San Diego.
Beautiful choices for your instagram roundup. I think you picked some of the prettiest places in the world for your instagram shots – San Diego, CA; Germany. Just beautiful. 🙂 And now I want a slice of pizza. 😉
Thank you so much! I take photos everywhere I go. it’s an addiction. 🙂
My favourite is the white house. It looks like a painting.
It was painted and hangs on the bedroom wall. 🙂 Thanks!
Omg loved the picture of your house in Germany. It would be so wonderful to live there with a view like that. The view of Laguna Mountains looks straight out of a movie. Gorgeous!
Hi Raj; That’s not my house, but I used to go there all the time. It was an old mill and now it’s the tourist office. I got lucky with that Laguna Mountains shot, taken from the window seat of the plane. Thanks!
The Who being followed by Tranquility… Now, that is going from one end of a spectrum to another,
Keeps life interesting, Myke! 😀 Constant tranquillity would be a tad boring. 😉
Amazing! You my friend live an amazing life! Plus you actually saw “THE WHO”! Dang Girl!!!!!!!
We are finally enjoying life now, Marie, but I had a lot of nasty shit going on as a child and also as an adult. Had to overcome a lot of hurdles to get to this point. 🙂 Yes, we have seen The Who (twice, in 2013 and 2016 and maybe again, this summer), but not when they were in their prime. That would have been even more fantastic! The boys are still doing well, though, despite their advanced ages. Roger can still sing up a storm! ♥
Thanks for coming by today. Have a good rest of the week!
Gorgeous photos! My fave is the one of your mother. She was beautiful!
Thank you so much, Veronica. 🙂 I’m glad you liked the photos.
I have two pics I would like to share. How do I do that?
Where did you want to share them, Bianca? Here, in a comment (I think the only way to do that is to paste the URL of the image into the comment form.) or on Instagram? (You need an account for the latter.) Nice to see you! 😀
Your mom was beautiful and it looks like she belonged to the purple hat society?? I love that photo. I also love the one of the pretty house in Soest. I do see the old man in that gorgeous photo of the fountain. Great pics!
Thanks, Birgit. 🙂 No, my mother didn’t belong to any groups; she just liked to glam it up. That house in Soest used to be the Old Mill and now it’s the tourist office.
Fabulous photos, especially the one of your mother. She definitely had style.
Thanks, Eugenia. 🙂 My mother was known for her style.
Debbie,
Pizza is one of my favorite foods. How does real Italian pizza compared to what we know here in North America? I guess the photo taken of Laguna Mountains is taken from an airplane window. That’s a cool capture! The house in Germany is lovely. It has a nice feel to it. Thanks for the mid-week photo share. I’m not doing much these days as I prepare for the A2Z Challenge but I don’t have much in the way of new photographs to share anyhow. I hope when the weather warms again I can take advantage of using my camera more. Have a good afternoon!
Hi Cathy; Genuine Italian pizza has a thin, crispy crust and different style of sauce. Instead of cooked tomato sauce, they use ingredients like olive oil, pureed fresh tomatoes, garlic, and oregano. You can also get white pizza which is topped with olive oil, garlic and rosemary; no cheese or tomatoes. Yes, the Laguna Mountains photo was taken from the window seat of the plane as it was approaching San Diego. I was thrilled it turned out so well. Thanks! That house by the duck pond was the Old Mill. Now it’s the town’s tourist office. My favourite spot 🙂 I know you’re busy with your A to Z prep and appreciate your taking the time to drop in here. Cheers!
You travel to the most wonderful places.
Your mother was beautiful. I love her style.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Debbie. ♥
Hi Sandee! 🙂 We have taken two major trips to Europe in the last five years (in celebration of our 40th and 45th anniversaries) and that’s where most of the travel photos come from. I’m glad you like them! My mother had a lot of style. Thank you!
We live in an area where a lot of little towns took the name of the European town the settlers came from. There is a Soest not far from here, and I grew up in Besancon.
I didn’t know there was a Soest in the U.S. Cool! There’s also one in The Netherlands. When we visited in 2013, there was a busload of tourists from there staying at our hotel. I guess they wanted to see the other Soest. 🙂
We like interesting places photos. The Germany one my mom likes since she lived in Germany for ten years. It reminds her of that.
I’m glad you enjoyed the photos! 🙂 How cool that your Mom lived in Germany. What part?
I like all of the photos, but I think my favourite would be the house and duck pond as it looks so lovely and serene. Your mother was beautiful.
I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. The duck pond was my favourite retreat. 🙂 Yes, my mother had great style. Thank you so much!
I love the variety of your photos. That garden fountain has an ancient feel to it. Great travel shot too.
Thanks, Carol! 🙂 Photography has become an all-consuming passion, these days.
Loved your collection of photos, Debbie! Each one tells a story and I admire the regularity with which you put this up each week. Happy #ww and a beautiful rest of the week to you. Thanks for joining us for #ww this week too. 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed the photos, Esha. 🙂 What can I say? The photography muse has me in her grip! 😀 There are daily photo prompts on Instagram, which makes for some prolific posting. And it’s so easy to share them here, unlike, say, writing something profound. So basically, I’m just being lazy. 😉 Thanks for coming by!
