In July 2020, during a lull in the pandemic, we took a road trip around Ontario, visiting various locales named after European cities. There was lush greenery everywhere!

I enjoyed this fun post, Debbie.
It’s delightful to see nature and music taking on the green color theme, all set for the arrival of spring and the festivities of St. Patrick’s Day!
Green is the color I want to see the most now that spring is starting to pop. You brought the green all right and I thank you! The concert green was a nice bonus – you got some great green closeups, too. Loved it!
Hi Debbie – our greens are still coming through …. but so many colours at this time of year … beautiful freshness of green. I remember your trip – fun one to take … love the photos – cheers Hilary
There is nothing a beautiful as the green of nature. We usually have lush green grass all year round, although this year it is rather waterlogged! The trees are just starting to show a hint of green so it won’t be long before the leaves are out. Spring is coming, but please can we have less rain after a record breaking autumn and winter rainfall!!
Nice to have green grass year round! Our lawn is mostly brown and yellow at the moment. 😛 Trees are starting to bud here too, so we know spring is coming. 🙂 Thanks for coming by, Jackie!
In general terms, green is the color I hate the most; but when it comes to nature shots, even though I don’t want to be out in it all that often, I have to admit that the shots can be absolutely stunning. Your local park pic reminds me of what my backyard used to look like before I finally hired someone to do my lawn decades ago. It’s rare that I open windows in my house, but when I do I open the one from my office that looks into my backyard… though I can only handle it for 30 minutes to an hour lol
Your backyard must be spectacular! And you don’t enjoy spending time there? I’d be camped out all summer. 😎 I know red is your favourite colour (mine too!), so you might like this a little better, if you can overlook the pink. 😉
When I moved here it was full of all kinds of insects and animals; it wasn’t until 10 years later that I knew there was a stream out back that explained things. The last 4 or 5 years, as El Nino shifted, I don’t see all the animals and insects I used to see previously, but I don’t trust nature all that much other than dogs. 🙂
Must be a big property! 🙂 And with a stream, no less. Yes, that would definitely explain the insects and animals. Summer would be so much better without the bugs. I’m totally phobic when it comes to those critters! We have bug zappers on the deck.
Green is a good prompt with St. Patrick’s Day coming up. I’m looking forward to the trees blooming. The grass is getting a little greenier. Spring is only 10 days away which makes me happy! Nice photo collection!
Oh, right! I hadn’t really paid attention to the connection with St. Patrick’s Day, but of course, that’s likely one reason for this prompt. 🙂 Like you, I’m looking forward to seeing more greenery, especially on the trees. Naked branches look so bleak. Glad you enjoyed the photos, Cathy. 🙂 Thanks for coming by.
It was our ersatz European tour. 🙂 At the time, we were lucky that restrictions for local travel had been lifted. Going out of the country and even the province was still prohibited. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos, Pete. Thanks for coming by.
Wow, you also have a fabulous and groovy gallery of green images. Green seems to be such a popular color that easily resonates with our eyes. Your pandemic road trip pics are beautiful. We could keep up with road trips in 2020 as we were starting the process of moving north. Love the concert pics—I cried the first time I saw Heart. Such an amazing talent.
Thanks Terri! 🙂 We were lucky that pandemic restrictions regarding local travel had been loosened that summer. After prolonged confinement, we were happy to get away! And the landscapes everywhere were so lush. Yes, Heart is an amazing band. Ann Wilson has one of the best voices in rock music history! 💖
What an amazing collection of greens, Debbie. I love the Shakespearean garden especially. And all the concert images. I saw Rod Stewart play at Blenheim Palace years ago, he was brilliant.
Thanks Cathy! 🙂 Stratford is a beautiful town. And Rod Stewart is brilliant, as you said. We used to see him perform every year, and he never disappoints.

GREEN:
The color of life, money, and The Lemon Pipers’ tambourine. More than any other color, green makes the scene!

Love these
Thank you! 🙂
The gardens are so gorgeous! I really hope to visit them someday, and indulge my love of walking and nature.
We have some beautiful gardens here in Ontario, Damyanti. 🙂 Stratford is a lovely town and, just like its British namesake, sits on the Avon river.
I enjoyed this fun post, Debbie.

Thank you, Veronica! 🙂 Green is perfect for March.
Lovely green photos! I now have Louis Armstrong’s What a Wonderful World playing in my head (and I love that song).
Thank you, Joanne! 🙂 That is a good song. I’d love to visit your blog as well, but you didn’t leave a link to follow?
Green is the perfect color for this month and I love the green greenery. It means it’s not winter.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Debbie. ♥
We’re hoping to see more green very soon, especially since it snowed today. 😲 Come on, spring! Thanks for hosting the WW link party, Sandee.

I’m with you about wanting to see more green, Alana. Sadly, we had a snowfall today! 😲 I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. 🙂
Thanks for coming by.

Green is one of my husband’s favorite colors. It’s really refreshing and relaxing to the eyes. Great photos.
Green is a good colour. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the photos, Lux. Thanks for coming by.
What a fun post, Debbie! Nature and music dressed in green ready for spring and St. Patrick’s Day!
Green is good! 🙂 We had warm weather last week, and now it’s snowing. 😛 Come on, spring!
Man, I am so itching for the green…
It’s been a rough winter, in some ways…
Nature’s beauty and music’s beauty–I fully enjoy seeing all these photos!
I’m glad you enjoyed the photos, Becky! 🙂 Thanks for coming by.

That was a good idea, to visit parks named after places in Europe. They all seem to be beautifully kept too. Great green selection, Debbie!

I want to go to the park. So beautiful.
Have a fabulous day and week, Debbie. ♥
Yes, I’m looking forward to spring and summer, when everything will be green again! 🙂 Thanks for coming by, Sandee.
