NOTHING SAYS “FESTIVE” TO ME MORE THAN SCINTILLATING LIGHT DISPLAYS!

HOLIDAY HOME DECORATING – OUTDOORS
Some people go all out! This is not our house…Others choose simple elegance, This is also not our house…We USED to do a lot. Our little old bungalow in 2010, lit up from roof to ground! Then we got older and lazier. This is the 2023 version.Hurray for laser lights!
HOLIDAY HOME DECORATING – INDOORS We still “deck the halls” with enthusiasm!

Wow, these are some amazing lights! I love how invested some people are in decorating the inside as well as the outside of houses at this time of year – it’s great to see!
Lights are the best part of the holiday season around here. 🙂 We have winter now and they provide a lovely warm glow, plus feelings of peace and contentment. Glad you enjoyed the pics, Debbie. Thanks for coming by and Happy Holidays!
Nothing wrong with blue, but the previous photo prompt specified green and red (and yet, there was a little blue, still). This prompt was less limiting. 🙂 Thanks for coming by and Merry Christmas! 🎄
What beautiful festive decorations and lights! Your gallery is fantastic!! It’s hard to imagine anyone can be sad through the holidays and yet it’s true. I wish it wasn’t true. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who find themselves in this situation. Okay, I have to say this do you know your TV is on fire? LOL I know, I’m being silly but that’s what you’ve come to expect from me, right? 😀 Thank you for sharing so much happiness! Have a very merry Christmas, my friend! xo
Thank you, Cathy! 🙂 We love the lights. I know, many people find no joy this time of year and it’s sad. We do what we can to help. Haha – yes, the TV is a poor substitute for a real fireplace, but better than nothing. 😀 Merry Christmas to you and your family! 💖
Hi Debbie, Merry Christmas! Wow, what a festive display all over your area! Really amazing. Your house this year looks very festive–those laser lights are pretty cool. Even though I have my outdoor lighted deer, we can do more when we get an electrical outlet on the outside front of the house. Solar lights are also good. Thank you for sharing for Sunday Stills these past weeks and take time to enjoy the holidays.
Thanks, Terri! Lights are a big deal around here for the holidays. 😀 The lasers were popular a few years ago, but most people have gone back to traditional bulb lights now. We’re too lazy and will stick with what we have. I’m glad you like them! Your deer are lovely. We have solar lanterns in front and back of the house year ’round. I’ve really enjoyed taking part in this blogfest and hope to continue in the new year. Thank you for hosting it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Gorgeous pictures! We are not decorating much at all this year. I may go get a small tree. NOt sure why the spirit hasn’t moved me yet. I kind of like the art deco tree but the traditional is more like what mine usually is. Merry Christmas, Debbie. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Janet! 🙂 I hope that festive spirit finds you. I liked the Art Deco tree too, but a lot of people were upset about it. 😆 Merry Christmas to you!
Some seriously good decorations. Our local area could not compete with those, but most people in England are quite restrained when it comes to Christmas lights. Inside, we have an illuminated tree, but that’s it. Nothing at all outside our bungalow.
Have a wonderful Christmas, Debbie.
Best wishes, Pete. x
Yes, we are very much into decorating here. For me, the lights are the best part of the holiday season. 🙂 I don’t think I’d be happy with your set up, Pete. I have seen photos of London at Christmas and it looks glorious!

I love how huge that ‘Joy’ sign is, and the giant gift box! The Sunday Stills series is so much fun to see. Your decorations are fabulous, too!
We have a lot of beautiful light displays here and I’m a bit of fanatic about having them at home too. 🙂 I’m glad you like them, Damyanti!

The decorations in Toronto are gorgeous. Beautiful photos.
Yes, Toronto knows how to dress up for the season! 🙂 Every city and town has beautiful light displays, though. And Niagara Falls is truly magnificent!
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you and your family Debbie
