  1. Ohhhh These beautiful shots make me want to jump on a plane and go to Europe-just place me in front of a map of Europe, blindfold me, turn me around 3 times and let me pin a spot-I am there!

  2. That is a gorgeous sunset. I’m really jealous that you got to see it in person 😉 I like night shots, but my camera isn’t good enough to make anything of it shrug

    1. The Santorini sunset definitely lived up to its hype. 🙂 I only use a digital camera, set to “automatic”, which works quite well. That trip was like a dream and I can hardly believe it actually happened, until I look back at the photos. Thanks for dropping by, Madilyn.

  3. Sunsets make for some of the best photo ops. I guess sunrises might too but rarely am I in photo taking mode that early in the morning.

    1. The only time I’ve ever seen a sunrise is after staying up all night, which doesn’t happen much, anymore. 🙂 Just saw some spectacular sunrise photos on Jeffrey Scott’s blog.

  4. I think the most beautiful sunset I ever saw was Christmas Day, just before Russ died. I showed him the picture, hoping he could see it–he was still very alert then. There was the Brooklyn Bridge in the distance, and everything was reddish, with Christmassy red and green traffic lights. It was a beautiful evening, and I spent the night there next to him in the hospital…

  5. Nice pictures. Yes, I have captured a few breathtaking sunsets. A few of the photos I included on my blog as well.
I think I like the final photo the best, the sunset.

  6. It never ceases to amaze us… but the most spectacular sunsets we have ever seen and continue to see are right at our door step. Maybe it has something to do with the mountain range in the distance, I don’t know, but our sky turns in to bright streaks of orange, purple, and red. And the sunset lasts so long that we can mix a cocktail, make ourselves comfy on our terrace and just visually sink into it. Your topics make me so much more aware. Thank you.

    1. Your sunsets sound absolutely amazing, Angelika. A great definition for “Happy Hour”, complete with cocktails. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the photos. Have a good weekend.
