hello bitmoji 2024 summer

Although I love creating blog posts, visiting others, and interacting with everyone, once again, I’m feeling burned out and need to step back for a while. I may return in December, or start fresh in the new year.

You can still find me on other social media (Click HERE ► for links), and I’ll try to stop by your blogs when I can. In addition, there will be a new Battle of Bands contest on my other site Dec. 1:

  1. I’ll be happy to see you whenever you return. I haven’t spent much time in the blogosphere lately. I’m still in mourning because of the election.

    Love,
    Janie

  2. Hi Debbie – just enjoy the peace and quiet away from the milling crowd … I rarely announce my departures … I’m just lazy and don’t post for a while – feeling guilty as there’s lots I want to write up!!d. Such is life .. but see you when we see you … 2025 is going to be interesting … take care – cheers Hilary

    1. Thank you, Hilary. 🙂 I just needed a couple of weeks off to regroup. Trying to catch up now! And yes, 2025 will be fraught with tension – it’s already started! 😩

  3. Debbie, I hope you will have a peaceful time off and you won’t have as many blog posts to keep up with as many people take time off from their blog at the holidays. Now I think that is very cool that you were able to spin out a list of bloggers that interact the most with you … yes, I was on top as we do interact a lot but we have learned just how much we have in common so it is not a wonder!

    1. Thanks, Linda! 🙂 I needed a couple of weeks to regroup and get some stuff done offline. I’m not surprised you were at the top of the commentators list, since we do a lot of back and forth here.

      1. Debbie – I never seem to have enough hours in a day. I was trying to get one blog post ahead so that I could get some things done in the house – the perpetual trying to organize myself, but have not gotten that done, more than push stuff around. I am going to do another watercolor class, then put that on the back burner for a bit to get some things done inside, also offline. The French classes I probably should have waited to start until I finished everything in the house, but that might be never at the rate I’m going, so c’est la vie! 🙂

  4. Wise decision, no one should burn out her/himself with anything. I notice that you have many website, you have worked really much. Now relax and enjoy your life. Hugs to you Debbie😊

    1. Thank you, JV! I do have a lot of different online projects and it gets a bit much, sometimes. This website is my main focus, though, and I have returned on a somewhat regular basis now.

  5. Stepping back can be the best idea for lots of reasons, and when it’s self-care, that might top the list! Enjoy your blogging break and your holidays.
