BLOG ROUNDUP AND UPDATE

14 CommentsBlog-related, Life

Greetings to all my blogging friends!

It’s been a less than stellar year for me in the blogosphere, as I can’t seem to regain the mojo to keep it up on a regular basis. Shortly after we celebrated our 50th Anniversary in August, my health took a nosedive, with a nasty stomach virus that lingered into September.
sick bitmojiAll’s well now, but the muse has veered off into the photographic realm, particularly Instagram photo challenges. Not a bad thing, as I FINALLY completed a travelogue that’s been sitting in drafts for eight (!) years, and posted a couple of decent photo essays. I hope you like those, as there will likely be more in future.

SEPT. AND OCT. ROUNDUP
(In case you missed something 😉 )

STAY TUNED FOR…

Not entirely sure, but likely more photo essays, possibly a travelogue or two, some music, maybe some creative writing… Sorry to be so vague, but I hope to do better in the new year.

P.S. I’ve discontinued the podcasts for now, but you can view all of them to date on the podcast page or on Youtube.

  1. Glad you’re on the mend Deb. I get you. I didn’t even put out a weekly blog last week. Something in the air, not very motivated to do anything. And it was dark at 330 today 🙁 x

  2. I’m glad you’re feeling good again. Being sick for so long really sucks.

When you post I’ll be here too. Just do what you need to do.

Have a fabulous day and week, Debbie. Big hug. ♥

    1. Thank you so much for your support, Sandee! 🙂 I’m in awe of bloggers like you who post every day. My organizational skills are terrible, methinks. 😆 Too easily distracted and too many irons in the fire, as they say.

    1. Thank you so much for your support, Pete! 🙂 I’m in awe of your blogging prowess. How do you manage so many interesting posts every day? And find the time to reply to your visitors’ comments at the same time? You’re a star! ⭐

  3. Hi Debbie – glad to read you’re out of the bug situation – and hope it stays away … these things can strike us down. Many congratulations on 50 years together – a brilliant time … and I will get to read your Circling Round Ontario trips! Cheers Hilary

    1. Thanks, Hilary. Here’s hoping for no more illness! We’re stunned that 50 years have passed already – it truly boggles the mind how quickly time flies. No hurry about the travelogues, especially when you consider it took me eight years to organize them into blog posts. 😆

  4. It’s hard to get back into blogging when you’re down for a while regardless the situation. I’m happy you’re back to good health again. Everything will return as it should with your posting routine. I am struggling to do what I’m doing which doesn’t feel like much at times. I may rethink things in the new year.

    1. Thanks, Cathy. 🙂 I’ve been struggling to keep up the blogging for a few years now. My other online activities take time too, as well as having a life offline. I hope you figure out a good balance that suits you best. I haven’t managed it yet. 😆

  5. So sorry to hear you have been ill. I do think the blogging muse has abandoned many of us so you have lots of company. I do enjoy reading about your travels, even re-hashed ones.

    1. Thanks, Denise. I’ve been struggling to keep up the blogging for a few years now. My attentions are divided with too many other things, I guess. 🙂
