Those were great choices. I’m just now going through all the comments from last week on Terri’s page to find everyones posts 🙂
Thank you, Kirstin! 🙂 I’m trying to catch up as well.
Beautiful black and white photography. Beautiful.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Debbie. Hugs. ♥
Thank you so much Sandee! 🙂 I’m way behind…
Great pictures. The Trevi Fountain looks great as a black and white. Love the Niagara Falls pic as well.
Thank you, hena 🙂 I was happy with the results as well.
The full moon was beyond gorgeous this time, and you got some great b/w shots Debbie. <3
Thank you, Natasha! 🙂 Moon shots are always fun to take.
I love these black-and-white photos, and the video is great too, Debbie! Your creativity really shines through. The moon shots are fantastic, and the Trevi Fountain looks amazing in black and white.
Have a great week ahead!
Thank you so much, Veronica! I was pleased with the Trevi fountain B&W transformation too. 🙂
Great moonshots as well as great dog photos.
Thank you, Thomas! 🙂 It seems, I like black and white dogs.
I like these black-and-white photos and that video too Debbie … you are very creative. I was at Niagara Falls many years ago as a child, over half a century ago, which makes me feel really old! I have only done a couple of photos in black and white when I visited a Model A anniversary event a few years ago. It was a lot of fun and all the owners were eager to show off their vehicles.
Thank you, Linda! 🙂 I can’t take credit for the video – it was a Canva creation. Living so close to Niagara Falls, we go there a lot. It never gets old! 💖 Antique cars would look great in black and white!
I hope I get back there some day Debbie. I don’t blame you for going there often, as close as you live to it. I have to experiment more in black-and-white … the Ford Model A vehicles (some trucks were in the collection as well) were interesting to see and their owners were enthusiastic about showing them off.
What a beautiful collection of black and white images, Debbie! I love your black dogs, too! I could have added my black and white dog Oreo who left us in 2011. The shot of Niagara Falls look brooding and interesting! Love all the city shots, too. Always great to see your posts for the challenges 🙂
Thanks, Terri! 🙂 I seem to have a penchant for black and white dogs. Oreo is a cute name. That shot of Niagara Falls was taken from my hotel room window on a snowy winter night, using the zoom lens. Lucky it turned out so well!
Hi Debbie I really loved your photos. I have been to Toronto, Niagara falls , Mississauga and on another trip Calgary to Vancouver via the rocky mountaineer then up to Whistler so we do love Canada… and your photos are lovely. I do love your dogs too🤗💜
You really do love Canada, Willow! 🙂 I’ve always wanted to take the Rocky Mountaineer train, but have never been further west than Winnipeg. (We’ve spent more time in Europe, where both of us were born.) I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. Thanks for coming by!
Yes we love Canada but we love Europe to being from England we can hop around Europe but we have ventured to Canada and also America ….big journeys but fun 💜
What part of Europe are you from. If you don’t mind me asking? 💜
Yes, my family and I did a lot of travelling when we lived in Germany. I was born there and my husband comes from Italy. We always gravitated back to Europe (see my latest post, Bucket List Items), but now, it’s become too expensive and difficult to travel that far.
You have some great photos here that you put into black and white. The moon shots are cool and the first one reminds me of a gooseberry:). Love all your furbabes. They just bring joy.
Thanks, Birgit! 🙂 My camera has a decent zoom lens. Fur babies are the best! 💖
Very nice photos.
Thank you! 🙂
I love black and white photos and very often you can see far more in the image than when they are in colour, and certainly more atmospheric. ♥
Yes, black and white photos are dramatic and I love that, even though I’m drawn to bright colours more often. Thanks for coming by, Sally!
Nice pics! There’s something to be said about black & white photography. Sometimes, colors can be a distraction. I love Niagara Falls, which I was reminded of in early April when I visited (again) with my family after we had chased the eclipse in upstate New York. I take it you have a decent lens camera, especially based on your shots of the moon. I don’t think a smartphone camera would be sufficient! 🙂
Thank you, Christian! 🙂 I live less than an hour away from Niagara Falls and go there often. It never gets old. 💖 My smartphone camera isn’t very good, so I mostly use a Canon Powershot with 18X zoom lens.
That’s a great mixture for a B&W challenge, Debbie. The Trevi Fountain look really good as B&W seems to suit it well.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thank you, Pete! 🙂 I was pleased with the black and white transformations.
The large moon shot is amazing, Debbie! I love your black and white travels too and of course your gorgeous fur babies.
Thanks, Cathy! 🙂 It’s interesting how a photo can look so different in black and white. It seems I have a penchant for black and white dogs. 😀
