It’s been ages since I posted anything here, but in my defence, I was felled by a nasty stomach virus that dragged on and on…Thankfully, all better now!
Although the blogging doldrums are still present, the photography muse is alive and well, and I’m more active on Instagram these days.
One of their recent photo challenges was “Autumn Colours” and I just happen to have a spectacular set of images from last October! (Our southern Ontario termperatures are still too mild in September for leaf colour changes.) Enjoy!

Beautiful photos. It still feels like summer around here.
Thanks, Joyce! Nice to see you again. 🙂 We had a spectacular display last fall, but so far, not much is happening this year. It’s been warm.
Hi Deb. Glad you are on the mend. Thanks for sharing these beautiful fall colours. Nothing really red here or falling yet in my neck of the woods, but no doubts by week’s end there should be. 🙂 x
Thanks, Deb. 🙂 We’re still green here too, so far. Last fall was more colourful than the previous ones. I’m feeling a lot better, thank goodness!
Glad to hear. 🙂
You’ve captured the essence of Autumn beautifully, Debbie. Awesome photos. I hope you are on the mend from your virus.
Thanks, Eugi! 🙂 We had a spectacular display last fall. So far this year, the leaves are still mostly green, on the second day of autumn. Thankfully, I’m over the virus, but still feel a little weak.
Those are some spectacular colors, the likes of which we’ll never see here. Sorry to hear about that virus.
Love,
Janie
Yes, we had a spectacular fall last year. 🙂 Too bad, we have to deal with what comes after that, something you don’t have to worry about. 🥶 Thanks, Janie! I’m definitely feeling better, but still a little weak.
Awesome pictures, Debbie! It’s absolutely gorgeous in your neck of the woods 😉
Thanks, diedre! 🙂 Last season was better than the previous few. So far, the leaves are still mostly green and it’s the second day of fall now.
Hi Debbie – those colours are amazing … no wonder we love Fall – some areas of England are beautiful at this time too. I am just blogging … I’ve decided once again – one type of ‘social media’ is enough … so I did think about Instagram when I was out in Canada – but I haven’t continued it. It’s lovely you can capture the Fall magic here – great to see … cheers Hilary
Yes, last fall was better than usual. 🙂 Due to warmer temperatures, some of the previous years’ displays were pretty boring. I swear I have ADD and am easily distracted, hence my penchant for trying so many different platforms. 😆 Thanks for coming by, Hilary.
Hi Debbie – the like thing doesn’t work for me … but thanks for replying! It’s fine – at least you’re stimulated … cheers Hilary
Such awe-inspiring and bedazzling autumnal vibes dear Debbie. Someday I wish to see these in person. Amen to that. :))
I can’t wait to see what this October will bring your way, though. We are both in the same boat. I’m slowly limping back to blogosphere. Wrote out something yesterday.

Sending you loads of love and hugs and a blessed fall.
We were lucky last year to have such a vibrant display. 🙂 Not sure what will happen this season, as the leaves are still mostly green.
Nice to see you, Natasha and I hope you are doing well. 💖 Thanks for coming by!
Debbie,
What stunning autumn colors! It’s too warm here for us to see any signs of fall but change will follow soon enough. I try to enjoy the seasons as they come. I hate summer and I really, really hate winter. That’s why I try my best to not complain too much about summer anymore. The in-between seasons are my favorite and I wish it could always be like that, but then I couldn’t enjoy four seasons. It seems I’m never happy too long with the speed of time clicking away. lol I’m glad you’re still active behind the eye of the camera doing what you love. Have a good evening and thanks for stopping by, my friend!
Yes, we had a stunning fall display last year. 🙂 So far, nothing is happening yet this season, but I’d rather hang on to the warmer temperatures, anyway. I hate winter too! 😛 Thanks for coming by and have a pleasant week.
It’s coming soon, we have buckeyes turning now. I’ll wait for the wooly worm to tell me it’s fall…
It’s now the second day of fall, and the leaves are just starting to turn here. I’m in no hurry! 🙂
Such beautiful pics. Love them.
Thank you so much, Patrick! 🙂 I hope this fall will be equally spectacular.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I love autumn. I can feel it in the air.
Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Debbie. ♥
Thanks, Sandee! 🙂 Early to mid autumn is lovely, but I sure hate what comes after that! 🥶
These are stunning! I love the autumn colors. And as an added bonus, when the red trees shed, you get to walk down a red carpet 😂😂
Thanks, Damyanti! 🙂 We had a spectacular fall season last year. I hope there will be more of the same this October.
Oh I’m sorry to hear that you have been so sick but glad you are getting better. That illness can really knock one for a loop. I love your fall pics which just shows how vibrant the colours are in our area.
Thanks, Birgit! 🙂 It was nasty, but I’m all better now. Last fall was amazing, wasn’t it? I hope we get similar colours this year.
Your pictures are so beautiful! I think this is the best time of year!
I’m glad you’re over your illness. It’s horrible when it just hangs on like that.
Thank you, Kymber. 🙂 It was a bit of a long haul, but I’m so relieved to feel “normal” again. I hope we get another picturesque fall this year. Last season was the first good one in a long time.
Lovely photos. Not much color change here in lower Michigan either. But I am not complaining. Means no leaves are falling.
Yes, who wants to rake leaves? 😛 I wonder if we’ll have another spectacular show come October? Last year was amazing, but for several seasons prior, not so much.
You nailed the challenge with some wonderful Autumn images. Lovely stuff!
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! 🙂 We had a spectacular fall season last year, but several years prior were pretty underwhelming. I wonder what this year will bring?
I am trying to reply to this comment but now I don’t see it : “Yes, we had a stunning display of colours last year! I see your posts on Instagram as well. Thanks for coming by, Thomas. :)” Anyway, it is certainly stunning and I hope you get another colorful October this year. Here in Dallas we don’t get those colors.
Sorry there was a problem, Thomas. I can see the comment, but who knows what went wrong? Anyway, thank you and I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. I can imagine it’s much too hot where you are to get similar fall displays.
Those autumn colors are incredible. Great photos! 🥇 I see you on instagram sometimes.
Yes, we had a stunning display of colours last year! I see your posts on Instagram as well. Thanks for coming by, Thomas. 🙂
