  1. Happy New Year, Debbie! (again) – Those March pics? Omg. That had to have sucked for you! I would’ve been in heaven but I get why snow is not everyone’s cup of tea. I love all of your photos all the time but the moon photos are amazing. The concert pics are just great memories, aren’t they? I remember the concerts I’ve been to and they always make me smile. This year is going to be phenomenal! 2025 holy shit!

    1. Thanks, Karen! Also, for reading and commenting on the old post. ๐Ÿ™‚ Yeah, that was a dirty joke last March, going from summer back to winter so fast! Glad you enjoyed the photos. Love the concerts; and full moons, too. Only Metallica lined up so far this year, but it’s for two nights. Probably can’t afford many more after that. ๐Ÿ˜† Hard to believe it’s been 25 years since 2000! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

    1. Happy New Year to you too, Kymber! ๐Ÿ™‚ And thanks for the belated birthday wishes. Itโ€™s coming around again in 23 days. The โ€œbig 7-0โ€ โ€“ yikes! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

    1. Happy New Year to you too, Janie! ๐Ÿ™‚ And thanks for the belated birthday wishes. It’s coming around again in 23 days. The “big 7-0” – yikes! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

    1. Thank you, Pete. ๐Ÿ™‚ All the best to you and Julie! I am trying to get caught up in the Blogosphere and will come by your site over the weekend.

  2. Happy New Year Debbie to you and your hubby and a belated happy birthday – you do not look your age at all! I think we’ll feel it when we have to type “70” for our age and/or keep scrolling forever when filling out forms or doing surveys, etc. when we look for our birth year. I’ll pass that 70 milestone in about 16 months. The white Adirondack chairs with the paw prints on them are unique – was this area associated with something like a dog park? I enjoyed seeing all the holiday decorating you featured in your blog recently and in this post, not only for the Christmas lights in spectacular displays, but your own decorating as well and I enjoyed reading about your holiday treats. I finished off all mine – the indulgences were fun and now we’re back to reality. Here’s to another year with lots of writing and photo taking ahead of us. Cheers!

    1. Happy New Year to you, Linda! ๐Ÿ™‚ And thanks for the belated birthday wishes and compliment. I WILL be typing “70” for my age in exactly 24 days. ๐Ÿ˜ฒ The Adirondack chairs, located in the Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, were all painted by local artists in different designs and colours. Glad you enjoyed the festive images. Most of our treats are gone too, but we still have a few things to polish off. Diet starts Monday! ๐Ÿ˜†

      1. Well Debbie, this time I will know your birthday and won’t wish you happy birthday 11 months after the fact. ๐Ÿ™‚ In my opinion, after the 50th birthday and realizing you are a half-century old, the other milestone birthdays don’t seem all that bad. ๐Ÿ™‚ Those Adirondack chairs are very cool – if they were in any of our waterfront parks, people would steal them or tag them so much that they wouldn’t look nice for long. I did finish off my treats, but to me the new year and bucking up and starting anew will be next Monday too. Right now I’m not even sure what day it is … they seemed to all run together from Christmas Eve on, if that makes sense. When I worked, I wasn’t off during the week between the holidays, so maybe that’s why?

        1. Haha no problem, that photo was from last January. Yes, the half-century birthday was a biggie and memorable, as hubby threw me a surprise party at our favourite restaurant. No major plans for the big “7-0”, but I like the contemporary thought that “70 is the new 50”. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Oakville has one of the lowest crime rates in Canada, so the chairs are fairly safe. Not a lot of graffiti around here either, but when it happens, the Town removes it quickly. I feel the same way about the after-Christmas week. We’ll be de-Christmasfying the house this weekend and life gets back to normal on Monday. Mixed feelings…

  4. Happy, shiny new year, Debbie! Your 2024 retrospective shares wonderful highlights in concerts and interesting weather. Those shots of March with the beach one day and snow soon after is crazy. Thanks for riding along with me through Sunday Stills in 2024!

    1. Happy New Year, Terri! I’m glad you enjoyed the retrospective. ๐Ÿ™‚ We rarely get beach weather in March, so the snowy image was more normal. Pretty extreme to have them so close together! Thank you for hosting Sunday Stills and providing a forum for us to share photos. Cheers! ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿพ

  5. Hi Debbie! Happy new year! I always try to comment but sometimes am not able to. Hopefully, this goes through. Happy 2025 to you!
