CONFESSIONS OF A BOARDING SCHOOL INMATE COVER

Heather’s attacks were wearing on me, but, I wasn’t sure quite what to do about them.

Confrontation? There was no proof and she would just deny any wrongdoing. Retaliation? Didn’t want to stoop to her level. Rat her out to the house mother? That also didn’t sit well, for various reasons. Pictures of an even more vengeful Heather flashed through my befuddled mind.

    1. Glad you enjoyed them, Michele. 🙂 These are all the chapters about that year. I plan on turning them into a short story ebook in the near future, at which point there will only be excerpts here. You got to read the whole thing before it disappeared. 🙂 I’ll return to writing the dog memoirs very soon.

  1. Wow, what a story! You truly have had an interesting childhood. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the great writing. Let me know when the book comes out!

    1. Thank you so much for reading my story and for your kind words! 🙂 Yes, I’d say a little different childhood than the average person. LOL The book will be awhile yet, but, I will surely make a big announcement when it happens. Thanks again, Loy.

  2. the internet adventures remind me of some sorts of book I read when I was around ten, Enyd Blighton : Hanni and Nanni, I dont know if that were just the german names of the two twins or if they were called so as well in other countries. And now after 40 years they made a movie of it… I saw that kids now read that again. Hanni and Nanni also lived in an internat and they had a lot of adventures.

  3. Thanks for sharing your adventure. So I can see we both watched the moon landing in the same town. Looking forward to see you in September and go on a little journey way back to your teenage years and childhood. Maybe something to write about in your blog.

    1. Yes, that’s right! We WERE in the same town then and didn’t even know it! 🙂 Oh yes, I will definitely be writing about our meeting too, Bettina. Thanks for reading.

      1. not only town, in the same suburb of town as well. I think in that age we would not have become friends because those few years are a lot when someone is an child and the other one a teenager. But we do have a lot memories of our youth and soon we will have memories of our time together in BO

        1. Yes; isn’t it amazing how we met by coincidence on the internet? You are 5 years younger, Bettina, so probably right that the age gap would have been too big, then. Looking forward to meeting you in Sept.! 🙂
