Fabulous photos! The city of Split, glass birds and yellow sunsets are just what I needed to see today. Thank you!
Hi diedre! Apologies for the late reply. I’m glad the photos brightened your day. Thanks for dropping in.
I love that Mykonos sunset. And the stairs – makes me want to go exploring and see where they are leading to! Beautiful photographs, Debbie!
I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. These are all such beautiful, historic places. 🙂 Thanks for coming by!
Loved all the photos, as usual. I especially liked the photos of the stairs and colourful glasses.
I’m glad you enjoyed the photos! Thank you for dropping by! 🙂
Loved all the photos, Debbie but I loved the two —the Stairs one and the Sunset at Santorini a little more, for some reason. Santorini is in my bucket list for 2019. Fingers crossed, hopefully someday! Thank you for joining us for #ww, this week, Debbie. Have a lovely weekend.
Thank you, Esha! 🙂 Those are two of my favourites, as well. Happy Thursday!
I wrote a poem about Croatia, and in the poem, there was a girl, taking pictures, from the Maslenica Bridge. Have you taken pictures from the Maslenica Bridge, Debbie?
Hi Myke; Unfortunately, we didn’t get up to Maslenica; only Split and Dubrovnik, which are further south. I’d love to read your poem, though. is it online? Thanks! 🙂
Great photos! Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome. Thanks for coming by! 🙂
Apart from Toronto, i have been to all those places and they are indeed beautiful
They certainly are! 🙂 Toronto is a world-class city, 4th largest in North America and deemed to be the most multi-cultural. Lots to see and do, here. Thanks for coming by!
Thanks for your comment. You said you couldn’t find it on my post, but due to a lot of spam comments on that blog I have enabled comment moderation. I did have word verification for a few weeks but as that drives me nuts I didn’t really want to inflict it on others 🙂
I will add a note to my comment box that moderation is enabled.
Thanks for the info. I couldn’t remember whether or not I had written one. 🙂 FYI, you could try “RECAPTCHA” which merely asks commenters to check a box, rather than figure out a bunch of squiggly numbers and letters. Cheers!
I would love to check out Santorini- as long as there’s nothing rumbling, lol! The Scorps remind me how sad it was when the Hanover Scorps ice hockey team (named after them) got relagated…
There haven’t been any rumblings on Santorini since 1950, so I think you’d be safe. 🙂 The Hannover hockey team was named after the Scorpions band? That only seems fitting, since the band is from Hannover, Germany.
I took that beautiful red glass and filled it with wine and then went on one of those beautiful boats to enjoy the water.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Nice! 🙂 I didn’t get a chance to board any of those boats, but they sure looked good in the harbour. Thanks for coming by!
Stunning photos! I love the one of the steps – very charming.
Thanks! 🙂 That one is a favourite of mine, too.
Beautiful photos. You travel so widely.
Thanks, Deb. 🙂 We took two major trips to Europe in 2013 and 2018, for our 40th and 45th anniversaries. That’s where most of the photos come from.
That’s a lovely way to spend your anniversary!
A world famous sunset site? That is something worth investigating, although, with my love of sunsets I just seek them out wherever I am. Hmm….
I love sunsets too and agree, there are many great ones, everywhere. Having seen the one in Oia firsthand, though, I have to say, it was one of the most amazing! ♥ An entire tourism industry has been built around that one. 😀 https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review-g482941-d3369820-Reviews-Sunset_in_Oia-Oia_Santorini_Cyclades_South_Aegean.html

Debbie,
I absolutely love the street, steps, building shot from Split Croatia. That’s just beautiful and has an old world feel to it! Thanks for joining me today. 🙂
Hi Cathy; Croatia is an old country with a lot of character. I’m glad you liked that one! 🙂 It’s one of my favourites, too. Thanks for making the time to come by. Good luck with your A to Z prep.

Hi Marie; I’m jazzed you’re enjoying the photos! 🙂 Instagram probably occupies as much of my time as blogging. We had two major trips to Europe, in 2013 and 2018 (40th and 45th anniversary celebrations) and took hundreds of photos. Thanks for coming by. Your Charlie is a cutie! ♥
What happy pictures these are! Makes me want to book a seat to fly out to Athens right now!
Thanks! 🙂 Most of the photos I share on Instagram are responses to prompts. Luckily there are many to choose from since we’ve done a lot of travelling these past few years. Greece is magical! ♥
