World’s Greatest Dalmatian
Nov. 5, 1991 to May 22, 2007

‘Twas four years ago

But I miss you so

And the tears still flow

When this date comes along

I try to be strong

So hard to go on

As all that I do

Reminds me of you

  1. I had to come back in just to say my 2 yr old granddaughter clicked on the Dog Song on my iPad and was thrilled ! So we hopped over there. 🙂

  2. So sorry, Debbie. I feel your pain. The love of a pet is true agape love. I miss my Pokey-Podeoto Pup. It has been 3 months, but after sharing our lives for 15 years, there has been such a huge hole left by his absence that I think it will never be filled. I just think it is so unfair that such loving creatures live short lives (in compare to our own).

  3. I know what you mean Debbie…

I am still feeling the pain of losing my
best friend, she was the sweetest cat…
It is very hard to come to terms with my
good friend but I know that one day I
will see her again and she will be in my
    heart and mind forever…

  4. Hi Jen; Yes, the memories do sustain us, don’t they? At least Tasha did live a good, long life. Losing Fritz must have been awful too. My sympathies to you.

  5. shes a lovely memory for you i lost my german shepherd fritz to liver failure nearly two yrs ago now but still upsetting to loose our friends and pets but they leave lovely memories xxjen

  6. We never forget, but, although time does heal to some extent, for me, it always comes back on this sad anniversary. Your wound is still fresh, Pen, and I am sorry this made you cry too. ((HUGS))

  7. Full of life and love and play, and I’m shedding tears with you Debbie.
{{{BIG HUGS}}} to you too, from a soul who’s feeling pain and the missing factor. WE love them so much, that’s why the hole left in our hearts when they go is so large. xx
