Welcome to a new year of Photo Friday!
~~~~~~
LARGE
What’s a large, impressive subject for this week’s challenge? Since I was there a month ago, the first thing that that came to mind was Niagara Falls. These photos were taken within a 15-hour span, Dec. 5 and 6. Enjoy!
Been to the Niagara Falls twice. So spectacular. My large is Uluru in Australia.
Happy New Year, Suzy. 🙂 How great that you have been to the Falls and twice! I Googled Uluru and that also looks spectacular. I’d love to visit Australia one day. Thanks for dropping in and have a good weekend.
An impressive display of the power of water. You captured it beautifully.
Thanks; glad you liked it. 🙂
I’d love to see Niagara Falls!
A photograph gives my head an idea of the scale of it, but I know it would feel very different to be there – even a relatively small waterfall is impressive.
Hi, Clowie. 🙂 Niagara Falls in person is much more spectacular than the photos indicate. We are fortunate to live so close by.
So beautiful! I’ve never seen a waterfall in real life, but my cover photo on facebook is a picture my husband sent me of Multnomah Falls in Oregon… which we’re planning on moving to before the end of the year. So I’ll be seeing a real life waterfall soon! 🙂
Happy New Year, Madilyn! 🙂 Good luck with your move. I’m sure you’ll enjoy those falls in Oregon.
Happy new year Debbie! Amazing pictures:-) I think alot of people have a dream to visit Niagara falls- myself included!! It just has this “it” factor:-)
Happy New Year, Eil! 🙂 We never get tired of visiting Niagara Falls. Hope you get the chance to go there, one day. Thanks for dropping in.
Good ole Niagara Falls! I am so close and don’t go-hahaha-just the way it goes when one is so close to something famous. The people who live nearby often don’t go to the places. I have to get there during the winter
Hi, Birgit. You’re even closer to The Falls than we are. 🙂 It was our “party town” in the good old days and still a favourite choice for a short getaway. The Festival of Lights is well worth the trip.
Beautiful photographs, simply beautiful! Hubby keeps promising me another trip to Niagara but he hasn’t done so yet! He works too hard. Hope your New Year is filled with more such beautiful opportunities!
Happy New Year, Yolanda! 🙂 I hope you get a chance to visit Niagara Falls again. It never gets old! Thanks for dropping in.
Love your bird’s eye views. Where did you take them from? A tower? A helicopter? Did you sprout wings? 🙂 We visited the Falls many years ago with our sons. It was one of the most memorable stops of our trip. Lucky you to live so close to a World Wonder.
Close, Angelika. 🙂 I took these from the window of our hotel room on the 26th floor. Yes, we are fortunate to live so close by and have many good memories, spanning 40+ years, starting with our honeymoon.
Debbie, I would LOVE to see Niagara Falls!!! Thanks for sharing such spectacular photos with us today. Have a good weekend and here’s to 2016! I’m looking forward to sharing it with you, lady!!
Happy New Year, Cathy! 🙂 I hope you get a chance to visit Niagara Falls one day. The photos don’t compare to the real thing. Thanks for dropping in. I am looking forward to your future posts, as well. Cheers!
Niagara Falls is so impressive. It’s a fun place to go as well. Nice range of photos.
It’s our favourite “go to” place for R and R. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the photos. I took these from our hotel room on the 26th floor.
