The recession of 2009 was a real bitch!
Be honest, work hard
You’ll get your reward
So said the folks
And all the old blokes
Put money away
For a rainy day
You can have a nice life
Without any strife
Where is that dream
Does it seem
We got it wrong
Or left it too long
Our retirement has gone up in smoke
Now we’re broke – what a joke
We’ll be working ’til we croak
Can’t help being bitter
But I’m not a quitter
We must continue on
Or everything is gone
